Jack Wuerker

After graduating from Denby, I attended West Point (1964-66), the University of Michigan (B.S., 1968; M.B.A., 1972) and American University (J.D., 1976) and was married for the first time in 1969, raised my first three daughters with my first wife, divorced, got remarried in 1998, had my last child (a fourth daughter) in 2000 and was divorced again in 2022. Two of my grown daughters are married (Elizabeth and Clare) and Elizabeth has 3 children, Norah, Gus and Martin. After graduating from Michigan, I worked for Ford Motor Company for 5 years, went back to law school in 1973 and have practiced law since graduating in 1976. My first legal job was in Detroit as a law clerk to a federal judge; since 1978, I have lived in the Washington, DC area and worked primarily as a lawyer in private practice. At present, I am a partner at FisherBroyles, LLP.
