Bonnie and I ended up being good friends for numerous reasons.  She had a great sense of humor and never failed to say EXACTLY what she meant. Being 6 mos older than me ,she "took me under her wing" when I got my drivers license.... explaining that when you park at Dunks , you always back in Never(under any circumstances) do you pull in!.  I miss her frankness. I  stay in touch with her sister Lynn, who has become a great "mom" to Bonnies grown boys and grand kids.

Bonnie lived down the street from me on Lansdowne. We had some mutual friends and hung out as a group junior and senior years. After graduation, we attended Wayne State for two quarters. Bonnie would pick me up each morning and we would listen to CKLW, WKNR, WXYZ, etc. but no song was on more than 30 seconds before she would change it. Also, the temperature in the car was either 60 degrees or 80 degrees, no in between. She later became good friends with my sister Barb (Denby '55) and they had a lot of good times together. I will always remember her smile and her personality and together would light up a room.

Bonnie and I were friends in High School and I remember walking over to her house after school a few times.  Bonnie was tall and such a beautiful young lady.  I always enjoyed her company.  We met up later when her son Ryan and my son Geoff were on the same Hockey team when they were around 11 or 12 years old.  Bonnie was still so pretty and we had some good times cheering on our sons.

Bonnie was always so nice.  I remember senior year see and I were two of the tallest students.  I don't remember which reunion it was, but she had turned into a real beauty, inside and out.
