When my family moved to Parkgrove in 1955, Dan's family was already there. Dan (Chips) lived 5 houses down. A couple of years later, Chuck Larson's family moved into a house right between ours. The 3 of us spent many a summer playing catch, touch football in the street and just hanging out. Those were great days on the East Side of Detroit. Chips passed away March 3, 2014.
